A self-declared AFL tragic, Gillian made the move to Melbourne in 2010 to pursue her career and love for everything sport. Gillian founded Performance HR in early 2012 to provide commercially focused, practical HR Advice to small and medium businesses. Gillian’s success is built on her straight talking, no nonsense approach to business that drives successful commercial outcomes.

Gillian is passionate about Human Resources and the potential to have a measurable impact on a business’ bottom line. Her logical, practical and researched HR intelligence provides options to clients to achieve business results and outcomes whilst giving due consideration to internal factors such as compliance and culture.

Gillian’s expertise spans Human Resources and Business Consulting. She enjoys partnering with business owners and Executive teams alike to understand strategy, structure and operational processes. Gillian has had success in redesigning structure, processes and role accountabilities to achieve outcomes including customer experience, business efficiencies and cost savings.

As Performance HR Director, Gillian finds it incredibly rewarding to experience the sense of satisfaction that comes with completing a project and genuinely making a positive impact across a wide variety of industries that span wholesale, retail, manufacturing, logistics through to the more unique businesses including an Auction House, Music Festival, Sporting Club and Recreation Facility.
