  • Bachelor of Human Movement and Exercise Science – Victoria University
  • Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education – Victoria University

Aligned with Performance HR’s objective to recruit the non-typical HR Consultant, Xavier joined the team in 2015 following a successful career as a secondary school English and Physical Education teacher and Year Level Coordinator/Team Leader.

 

During his tenure as a secondary school teacher, Xavier was exposed to the recruitment process and the rewards and challenges of people management. After 7 years within the education sector, Xavier made the transition to HR and Recruitment and enjoys the challenge of understanding each client’s specific requirements and finding the right solution and person to the client’s needs.

 

With his main focus, along with colleague Jo Dobson, being Performance HR’s recruitment arm, Xavier applies a pragmatic, transparent and common sense approach to the recruitment process, at all times guided by achieving the best outcome for you, the customer. He is customer focused and ensures the highest standards of customer service, known to go above and beyond for both client and candidate, and invests in relationships. Aligned with Performance HR’s values, Xavier provides honest, candid and constructive feedback and guidance to support candidates in their next endeavour.

 

Xavier prides himself on partnering with the customer to not only understand the inherent technical requirements of the position, but also the critical components to ensure the right candidate is an exemplary cultural and environmental fit. To date, Xavier has partnered with businesses large and small to fulfil roles ranging from senior finance to project management through to plant operators and warehouse operatives. With a strong analytical background, Xavier enjoys and is excited by the opportunity to provide our client’s with digestible and useable insights in the audit reports, remuneration reviews and modern award wage reviews he undertakes. Xavier also uses his strong written, communication and presentation skills in the many employee handbooks, codes of conduct and position descriptions he writes for Performance HR clients.
